Joshua Kimmick is close to agreeing a new contract with Bayern Munich, which runs until the middle of 2026.

On Wednesday, City’s newspaper reported that the contract renewal process between Kimmick. And Bayern Munich was finalized. If it goes well, the 26-year-old will receive a double wage increase.

The report was also confirmed by Sky Germany, who revealed that Kimmick was in the process of agreeing to a new contract extension. The original contract is now bound until 2023. And now it remains only to wait for the time to sign the contract, including an official announcement.

The report further revealed that Kimmick will receive roughly double his salary, making the Germany midfielder the second-highest-paid Bayern player behind Robert Lewan.
