Klopp: Nunez still needs to improve language.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists Darwin Nunez needs to improve his English in order to adapt better to the team. But it is clear that the £85million spearhead is part of the club’s long-term plans.

The Reds signed Nunez last summer in a deal that could be worth up to £85m, and there were positive signs from the start when he made an immediate impact in the Community Shield victory. And then scored in the first game in the Premier League.

But things did not go according to plan for the Uruguay striker. He has started just one of Liverpool’s last four matches, but he is in contention for a starting spot against Forest after coming off the bench to score in the thrashing of Leeds on Saturday. Monday

Klopp said Roberto Firmino will be out for the next three games due to a muscle injury. Delighted with the performance, but confident Nunez will take it to the next level once he can communicate in English instead of Spanish.

He attends classes once a week with fellow South American Luis Diaz and Klopp wants to see his time in class pay off for Nunez, who has 15 goals and four assists this season UFABET

Klopp said:

“Darwin is a player whose skills are different from our other players. which is a good thing He truly is an incomparable machine. He will score a lot of goals. And he’s already scored enough goals. But of course he still has to adapt.”

“His English is not very good. But we are working hard for that. It didn’t help with a tough debut season for the whole team. How can strikers shine if the team is struggling? It’s not impossible. But he had a great time.

“He got hurt sometimes. and was also banned That’s not the whole problem. This is a long-term plan. I understand that he wanted to play with passion from the start. But we have to find a method that works for us again.”

“I’m fine with the situation. I understand Darwin isn’t always okay. He didn’t smile at me when he knew he wasn’t going to start and said ‘thank you boss!’ but when you have five or six players up front you have to decide.

“It’s good, the door is still wide open. He came down that night and was awesome. It’s the right way to go, with five games in the next two weeks Darwin will definitely start.”
